The studio Mimolimit consists of an architecture/designer/specialist team, lead by architect-designer Barbora Skorpilova. Since 2001, Mimolimit has been specialised in the fields of construction planning and interior and project design. Project-realisations are done according to clients’ demands. “I aim for our constructions to maintain their initially conceived quality and functionality also within 50 years time. Furthermore, I would like for the story produced in co-operation with our clients not to be mere storytelling used to our own advantage, but also for it to provide a reflection of the effort we put into fulfilling our clients’ requirements,” says Barbora Skorpilova. Mimolimit has been working in co-operation with recognised suppliers and top craftsmen for a long time to guarantee a perfect service when it comes to realising our clients’ constructions and interiors.
Mimolimit’s work and designs reflect various cultures and social environments; Mimolimit often crosses boundaries - not just regional, but also mental and stylish boundaries. Mimolimit’s unusual use and combination of materials has resulted in a lot of national and international attention and respect. Some major projects include: Hotel Yasmin in Prague and Kosice, Hotel Perla, the coffee chain Emporio Café, Restaurant Le Monde in Bratislava, office buildings Clifford Chance, Interior E-Gate, the sale shops Dluhova energie /CEZ/, Interior River Diamond, Residence Prokopova ..... Current projects and proposed designs: e. g. Hotel Hilton in Mongolia, office buildings in Minsk, Hotel Yasmin in Budapest, Residence object Obecni dvur and Residence Lannova in Prague, Zamecke zahrady (palace gardens) near Karlstein; some private villas.
