ulaanbaatar
high-capacity hotel in the building-free mongolian countryside.
the hotel rooms were designed as two types based on the shape of a trapezoid. the trapezoidal layout of the rooms gives the rooms an interesting dynamic, and as the layout continues throughout the entire hotel, the hotel’s façade curves as a matter of course. the curve of the façade, which invokes the feeling of infinite movement, is emphasised by the internal atria and the colourful, vertical pattern of the façade.
